Blink International is an agency that creates integrated innovative solutions for sustainable development. We use technology to collect and publicize data which inspires community-led organizing and increases access to the much-needed services for vulnerable and historically marginalized groups. The Blink Volunteer Program has been designed as a unique platform for global engagement and an opportunity for you to deliver services you are passionate about, engage with like-minded-individuals from different regions and to participate in capacity building opportunities whilst serving a wider cause. It is not meant to be a paid position but should complement any role or responsibility you may already have in your respective regions. If you are enthusiastic, willing to be on the ground and motivated to learn as much as possible then you are the ideal candidate to join our Mission. We are seeking individuals to be part of our roster of professionals within the humanitarian and development sector.

Roles Required:
- Gender mainstreaming/ Women’s Protection and Empowerment Volunteer
- Communications/ Media Volunteer
- Mental Health Volunteer
- Health and Nutrition Volunteer                                                                                                                                                                                 
- Environment Sustainability Volunteer

- Access to the Internet preferably via desktop or laptop.
- Ability to work remotely and independently with little supervision.
- Proactive with problem-solving skills.
- Available to work on short-term projects (between 3 weeks to 3 months)
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills
- A good sense of humour and positive attitude
- A self-starter, willing to take initiative and follow through on tasks


- Academic or professional qualifications: University degree in Communications/Media, Social Sciences or any other relevant qualification.
- At least 3 years of experience in working in the development sector, particularly with women and children.
- Experience drafting psychosocial programs, or working on women’s empowerment programs.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills and ability to present ideas effectively, in both oral and written form.
- Ability to communicate sensitively and without judgment; good diplomatic and persuasion skills.
- Ability to use good judgment when making decisions and to take accountability for decisions made.
- Emotional maturity and stability to resolve conflicts in a non-violent way and maintain appropriate boundaries.
- Good interpersonal skills including the ability to gain trust and build relationships.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks; proven self-initiative and problem-solving abilities.
- High standard of spoken and written English. (French, Spanish Arabic added advantage.)
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Be able to work in a stressful setting and adapt quickly to changing environments.
